Equans is recruiting for an Evening Cleaner X 3 to be based in Leeds Magistrates Court, LS1 3JP. This is a permanent, role working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £9.90 per hour.
Monday – Friday 17.00 – 19.00
The Role:
To provide an effective, responsive cleaning service throughout the concerned HMCTS, ensuring
delivery and maintenance of a high standard of cleanliness, which meets the requirement
of ENGIE, the HMCTS and the National Standards of Cleanliness.

1. To undertake cleaning tasks, both planned and reactive, throughout the building to the required standard using correct cleaning materials, equipment and methods.
2. Undertake the damp dusting of furniture, fixtures and fittings.
3. To undertake maintenance of floors, including mopping, polishing and scrubbing. This will, on occasion, include the use of industrial cleaning equipment which will include a ‘sit-on’ vacuum cleaner or scrubber.
4. To be responsible for vacuum cleaning and carpet water extraction cleaning.
5. Undertake cleaning of sanitary areas.
6. Undertake the cleaning of Public Areas, including public toilets. This will include the use of steam cleaners for the toilet areas.
7. Responsible for the segregation, removal and disposal of waste.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Previous experience as a Cleaner
Health and Safety Level 1
At least one years experience within customer focused environment.
Current DBS (Ideally no older than 12 months)
Ability to acquire BPSS vetting
Work early morning or late evening shift patterns
