Looking for your next inspiring marketing and communications challenge?
Join our recently created Research and Enterprise Marketing team and play a critical role in delivering the university’s research and enterprise strategic plans. You’ll be working directly with our world-leading Interdisciplinary Institutes as a dedicated Marketing and Communications Manager.
Working as part of a small team you'll contribute to a range of collaborations to enhance our reputation. You'll be working to improve brand perception with core audiences, increase income, and enhance the understanding of new knowledge which is making a real difference to society.
Collaborating with senior leaders and academics, you’ll get under the skin of a wide variety of projects, understand their target markets, and develop compelling and competitive propositions for them. To deliver plans, you’ll engage with a network of specialist experts in commercial, digital and communications teams to meet our ambitious targets.
About you:
Alongside your ability to communicate complex research themes to a range of target audiences you'll bring experience of planning and implementing marketing operations and the ability to do so in a large and complex organisation. Your skills in developing plans based on data and insight will underpin your creativity in designing and communicating innovative solutions. Adept at relationship-building, you’ll be able to work proactively with academic and professional service stakeholders and across a network of internal and external teams to effectively deliver marketing and communications plans.
