Accounts Receivable Accountant

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients and project managers regarding AR matters in a clear, concise, and timely manner

• Create and continuously update the AR reports to reflect the most current collections effort and pending issues
• Provide thorough account reconciliation then coordinate with the appropriate parties in order to resolve pending issues and outstanding balances

•Collect payment from customers and accurately apply in accounting system.

•Understand accounts payable concepts and be able to search information independently.

Desired skills:

• Experience in the construction industry is a plus

• Excellent, effective oral and written communication skills
• Accounting background, Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft and Outlook, experience with Sage is plus
• Ability to follow instructions and follow through with individual tasks
• Strong ability to work with a varied team, proven ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
