About us…
James Walker is a global materials engineering specialist working in partnership with blue chip customers across the oil and gas, metallurgical, nuclear, biopharmaceutical, marine propulsion, aerospace and renewable energy industries.
We are now seeking a PART-TIME (20 hours) Accounting / Administrative Assistant, focused mainly on Accounts Receivables for our manufacturing operation in Glenwood, IL. The purpose of this role is to support the finance/accounting team through carrying out the following responsibilities:
- Assisting with inventory management
- Completing regular data entry of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reviewing open accounts for collections operations
- Assisting with processing of payroll in an accurate and timely manner
- Processing purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Processing company credit card expenses
- Completing ad hoc projects as required
- All other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance

Preferred candidates will possess...
- high school diploma and some form of college coursework in Finance/Accounting
- at least 2 years of relevant accounting and/or administrative experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
