Kitchen Steward
**£22,000 Per Annum based on a 40 hr contract**
We are looking for a remarkable individual to join our dynamic Stewarding team at the Fairmont St Andrews, one of Scotland’s most iconic 5-star luxury hotels and resorts in the home of golf.
As Kitchen Steward you will carry out all duties within the Stewarding department and work closely with the culinary team.
Our 213-bedroom property is located on the outskirts of St Andrews, boasting 2 championship golf courses and an award-winning spa and leisure facility. With multiple food and beverage venues on site, we are able to offer our guests a world class experience for dining and leisure activities, right here on property.
Our absolute focus is delivering a personalised, luxury experience to all guests, building relationships and anticipating their every need. If you believe you are the right person for this role then we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing:
- Kitchen maintenance and cleaning, following food safety requirements
- To wash and polish all operating equipment
- To distribute cleaned equipment to the correct location
- Store equipment correctly
- Assist with temperature checks of food stock
- Follow health and safety requirements at all times
- Work in a safe manner
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
- Add diplomas/certifications required if needed
Your team and working environment:
- Working as part of the culinary team
- Duties will be performed during the day, evening and weekends with occasional overnight work
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
