We have an exciting role for an Account Manager to join our successful commercial team! The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining healthy and profitable relationships with a portfolio of clients to increase and/or maintain the corporate wealth of the account.
The Account Manager collaborates with their clients by ensuring that they have the latest understanding of Profiles’ services and how they can help their businesses.

What you'll do
- Develop and maintain ongoing client/account relationships
- Complete client account plans with the relevant Profiles Commercial Directors which is regularly reviewed and updated and shared with all members of the client team
- Present company credentials to the client to help ensure that all are up to date on Profiles’ products and services
- Analyse and understand the clients and their customer needs
- Provide knowledge of Profiles panel and feasibility / pricing approach to the client and their project managers/client servicing managers
- Identify gaps in client service processes (both Business Development and Client Operations) and recommend improvements.
- Train and develop the client on agreed processes and procedures for the efficient running of projects
- Work on client briefs to ensure that teams add value to the research design and that the proposals are accurately turned around within a mutually agreed timescale
- Communicate with the relevant Account Directors on the proposals
- Work to make the projects (trackers and ad hoc studies) profitable and look to ensure that external suppliers are used only when required
- Work closely with the Account Directors to ensure financial targets are met
- Work closely with clients and Profiles Commercial and Operational Directors to help improve the sales forecasting and scheduling process
- Work with clients on any joint new product development ideas and agreeing the pricing and operational approach with the relevant teams
- Provide regular commentary on the competitive environment in market
What you'll bring
- Account management experience in a similar role, within market research or SaaS environment
- Ability to successfully handle client expectations whilst maintaining this good relationship
- Experience of leading multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop rapport with clients and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to critically evaluate information with an open mind and bringing together others’ perspectives, ensuring solutions align to the strategic drivers
- Ability to motivate change by anticipating future stakeholder/team needs and ability to frame ideas with simplicity to support teams and clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Skilled with Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience working in sales organisations to achieve and exceed their sales goals
- Skilled negotiator and able to negotiate or mediate discussions effectively, making concessions while accomplishing goals and protecting mutual interests
- Skilled at working proactively, with the ability to meet deadlines, possessing strong time management
