Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are delighted to be working with this leading and distinguished regional firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Manager to join their Darlington office.
As a result of sustained growth and success, the firm now keen to add an experienced and driven Audit & Accounts Manager to their Darlington office who can help to enhance their excellent reputation through the delivery of the highest level of client service to some of the firm’s premier clients.
As a Manager you will work directly with partners and will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors, taking responsibility for the provision of services to each of your clients and ensuring that excellent levels of service and client satisfaction are maintained.
This will be varied role which will see you involved in ensuring that the full service offering to your clients is achieved to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for managing the audit process for clients under your control from planning through to completion, ensuring the deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment, and ensuring each assignment is completed in line with all agreed budgets and timescales.
You will be responsible for reviewing year-end accounts for your client and providing guidance to junior staff along the way on any complex issues which may arise.
Aside from the client management responsibilities the successful candidate will also contribute to the day to day management and training of staff. This will include having responsibility for assisting with staff appraisals throughout the year to ensure continuous development for individual team members.
You may also be involved in business development activities including presenting to new and existing clients with a view to winning new business for the firm.
The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified and will have experience of working in a mixed audit and accounts position within an established practice with previous client management experience.
