ABB E-Mobility is leading the future to zero emission mobility with smart, reliable & emission-free electric vehicle charging solutions. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the management, development, and retention of our existing key accounts. In this role, you will coordinate sales activities, creating added value for the customer and ABB E-mobility, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the development and implementation of an account plan and growth actions.
- Defining sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up & forecast process.
- Building strong interpersonal relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Providing solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets.
- Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure that all on-going projects run smoothly.
Your background
- Demonstrated 3+ years’ experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
- Knowledgeable about basic energy topics, with ideally a good working knowledge of EV infrastructure and the challenges faced in the market.
- Ability to anticipate issues and prepare/solve them before they impact the business.
- Self-motivated and able to hit the ground running in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and experience of using CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current Full Driving License valid in UK.
