The Role
Vogue Business is looking for an Account Director with a proven ability to sell sponsorships and advisory projects into the luxury (fashion and beauty) and technology & business services verticals. The successful applicant will thrive in an international, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, working in the highly collaborative Vogue Business team.
The Team
Vogue Business is based in London and the successful candidate would be joining a team responsible for the selling and executing of commercial partnerships, international events and advisory projects with global tech companies and luxury brand groups
What will you be doing?
- To own a an annual sales target made up of sponsorship and advisory
- To be comfortable with all aspects of selling and consultative selling; researching potential customers, making client presentations, negotiating agreements, assisting in scoping client requirements and delivering exceptional post sale ongoing client service.
- To be comfortable with ‘hands on’ post sale project management responsibilities, ongoing client liaison and navigating internal and client systems and processes
Who you are:
- Min 5 years experience in consultative b2b sales (commercial partnerships)
- Experience selling to the C-suite of leading global fashion and beauty brands and/ or business services and tech brands
- If not a familiarity with benchmarking, market research and Index methodologies, then a desire to learn
- Excellent project management skills, personal organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator-strong credibility
- Excellent written (proposal writing) and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently / entrepreneurially with minimal supervision
- Be extremely organised and enthusiastic
- Comfortable working with different teams-both within Vogue Business and across the wider org.
Where will you be?
- We encourage hybrid working but when you are in the office, this role will be primarily based in the wonderful Adelphi building with breathtaking views over the Thames and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand. This is our London HQ and where members of our global teams sit enabling all of our award-winning content to be created.
