Please note this is a part-time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
The successful candidate will be able to provide comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service. You will be answering incoming calls to the sexual and reproductive health appointment line. You will be maintaining up-to-date robust patient records on NASH IT database/ system. You will resolve and dispute appointment times and/ or offer appointments.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
Formal administrative/ secretarial qualification e.g. SVQ 3 or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an office administration capacity. Experience of a range of software packages including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel (incl. complex formulas).
Well-developed interpersonal skills in customer care.- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
- Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
- Proficient I.T. skills that include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.
