Position Overview:
We are seeking someone with passion and enthusiasm to join our Customer Sales department at our site in South Petherton, Somerset. Working within a busy existing team of 5 you will be required to provide excellent customer service through a high standard of telephone, face-to–face and electronic communication with new and existing customers along with advising the best product solutions and providing accurate quoting and sales negotiation.
The role is fast paced and sometimes pressurised and will require popping out into our yard to check stocks or look at products. You will be joining a focused team where we help each other, muck in, get the job done and have some fun along the way. A sense of humour will be helpful!
Key Objectives:
- Accurately and efficiently handle customer enquiries, negotiate prices, generate and follow-up quotations in view of winning sales and processing enquiries into orders
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a timely and professional manner. Building rapport with customers and enjoying speaking to customers.
- Professionally handle customer queries and complaints, and resolve any issues in line with personal level of responsibility
- Advise customers on Hewins’ products and services
- Take part in daily telesales routine/campaigns to develop customer relations and grow sales
- Serve customers at the trade counter and handle their enquiries accordingly
- Meet with customers to discuss their projects and needs.
- Occasional visits to customers sites as required
About you:
- Fluent English language spoken with excellent telephone & face to face interaction
- Interpersonal skills – the ability to work well in a team - you will need to draw on all areas of the company to be successful (Purchasing, Production, Finance)
- Ability to think creatively and take initiative with Practical and logical; the ability to solve problems quickly and accurately & strong IT skills
