Position: Academy Part-time Goalkeeping Coach

Burton Albion Football Club Academy are looking to appoint a Academy Part-time Goalkeeping Coach, to work with our goalkeepers across all age groups in the Academy programme. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Head of Coaching and working alongside other academy age group coaches, they will have a passion for developing well-rounded young players who are fearless, passionate, and hardworking.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills. They will be experienced in coaching goalkeepers in diverse groups and will have an in depth understanding of long-term player development. They will be able to demonstrate innovative coaching practices and have an excellent understanding of the technical, tactical, physical and social requirements of the modern goalkeeper and player.
Applicants will only be considered if they hold a minimum of UEFA ‘B’ Goalkeeper coaching qualification, as well as having experience of working within an Professional Football Club environment and academy.
It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to commence employment with the Club in March 2023. Employment with BAFC is conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (DBS), references and confirmation of qualifications.
