Who we're looking for
Schroders' Apprentice programme is your chance to gain two years of hands-on, paid work experience. If you've just finished your A-levels or your BTECs then this programme provides you with a chance to explore the world of work without going through the university route.
Although you may have never heard of Schroders before visiting our website, this apprenticeship could be for you because key to the purpose of the programme is to teach you about what, why and how we do what we do.
On this programme, you'll be part of the Fixed Income Product team within the Investment part of our business. You'll receive ongoing training designed to develop you throughout the two years, where you will have the chance to improve your skills as well as your technical knowledge.
The salary for this role ranges from £24k-25k.

Investment20/20
You will join as an apprentice as part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with trainees across the industry and participate in training, socials and insight events.
The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. We offer flexible working appropriate for a client solutions focussed role.
The team

What you'll do:
Some of the tasks and projects you'll be involved in are:
- Supporting the team in answering sustainable investment-related client queries
- Supporting and helping to coordinate sustainable investment reporting
- Supporting internal client-facing teams to encourage fluency around sustainable investment through updating intranet sites, monthly calls, training, ad-hoc requests etc.
- Maintaining our standard content database
- Updating our central client-facing presentation material
- Supporting team with client meetings
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
- Organisation and attention to detail
- An interest in sustainability and investment
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Happy to work independently as well as in a group
- You must be 18 years old by 4 September to apply for the 2023 intake
- You must have gained A-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects – no minimum UCAS point required
