Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship – Data Analyst Apprentice
Location: Crawley

You will be key in compiling data from multiple systems to tell stories and to answer vital business questions such as “What do higher performing teams have in common?” or “Why do our employees have a four year itch?”
Key responsibilities:
Identify business problems and present insights to influence actions.
Develop skills in Data Engineering, Visualisation and Business Analysis in a complex business environment
Work as part of a team to deliver data products used across the whole business.
Collaborate with business users to ensure you are delivering the insights they need.
Produce reports to provide insight and recommendations for how to improve the business operations, learning and business processes, and what drives business outcomes.
The Programme:
You will be studying towards a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship delivered by Thales UK in partnership with Imperial College Business School and Corndel. Accredited by A4digital, this is an 18 month programme taught through tailored workshops and individual coaching sessions. There may be scope for those who are successful in the Level 4 to progress onto the Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship at Warwick University.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be working as a Data Analyst within Thales UK.
This opportunity is based in Crawley.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about problem solving, technology, digital transformation and the future of data and analytics (i.e. automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning).
Successful candidates will show strong delivery skills and be highly organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.
You should be proficient in Microsoft Office products including ability to use lookups, pivot tables and multiple variable formulas in Excel. As well as, being familiar with data visualisation such as patterns, trends and correlations.
You should have excellent analytical skills including the ability to organize and analyse large data sets, detect and correct errors, interpret results to various audiences, and take responsibility for data quality as well as exceptional attention to detail.
You will also need:
Candidates will have attained A-Level standard or equivalent, in Maths and at least one further STEM based subject such as Physics, ICT, Computing or Electronics. They will also require English and Maths at GCSE grade A-C or 4-9.
Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the programme.
Please note that applicants who hold a relevant data qualification at Level 4 or above will not be eligible for this programme.
Please note, assessment centres for shortlisted candidates will be held on Wednesday 19th April 2023. Induction week for all Graduate and Apprentices will commence on Monday 4th September until Friday 8th September 2023.
