Working with a diverse portfolio of brands such as Cadbury World, The Bear Grylls Adventure, SEA LIFE Birmingham, Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham, and Warwick Castle. You’ll also get involved with the wider Midway UK and Ireland HR team to deliver a streamlined people strategy with a real focus on employee relations and inclusivity, so an amazing role for you to make a big difference!
What we are looking for
- Proven generalist HR experience in a commercially focused, fast paced environment and a relevant professional qualification
- Exceptional leadership skills and a highly motivated team orientated approach
- Operational experience, a genuine interest in our brands and a sound understanding of working within a commercial environment
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to take tough business decisions and sensitively handle difficult people issues
- Most importantly you won’t be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
Reporting to the Midway UK & Ireland HR Director, you will provide people advice, guidance and support to the Birmingham Cluster Regional Director, General Managers and senior leadership team members and their management teams. You’ll lead, engage, and enable them to deliver the divisional business plan, drive HR performance measures, manage staffing budgets and man-power planning and advise on employee relations issues.
This is a broad and demanding generalist HR role where you’ll need to adapt your approach to diverse business needs. You’ll handle complex employee relations and legal matters, evaluate training and development needs, co-ordinate senior recruitment and act as a central point of contact for advice and guidance for the leadership team, and general managers of your attractions.
You will champion initiatives in our People Strategy that will shape our HR processes across the division, identifying and implementing change and empowering those around you to deliver exceptional HR practices. These could include Engagement, Reward, Force for Good and Diversity and Inclusion.
The is a full-time permanent role, predominantly working Monday to Friday. This role will be based within an easy commute to one of attractions.
