Vibe Recruit's client based in Cwmbran, have a fantastic opportunity to for a Production Supervisor to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Location: Cwmbran

Hours of work : Monday-Thursday

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Main Purpose of Job:

Responsible for shop floor activities, assisting the Senior Production Supervisor to implement daily production plans, monitor efficiency and waste and provide support and motivation to the team.

Main Tasks:

• To prioritise the flow of work in accordance with the production build plan and ensure that all staff are fully utilised and productive.
• Attend production meetings to understand priorities and risks.
• Check work is carried out to the agreed standards and if not provide timely intervention/feedback.
• As required, provide disciplinary controls in line with company procedures
• Communicate and keep production team updated on all matters relevant to the production process.
• Support internal and third-party audits and customer visits.
• Help troubleshoot manufacturing problems.
• Lead Tier 1 and take part in Tier 2 meetings when required.

Experience / Skills Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Prior experience in a supervisory role
• Understanding of electronics, fault finding at board level
• Able to interpret schematics and drawings.
• Ability to learn new computer packages.
