This is a fixed-term position required for 27.5 hours per week, term time only.
Grade 4 - £21,189 for 27.5 hours per week term time only for 45.6 weeks per annum equating to £13,773.214 pro rata rising to 46.6 weeks, £14,592.72 pro rata per annum after 5 years’ service.
We wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our highly capable and committed team. You will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the organisation and management of pupils and the classroom. A primary focus of this role will include initiating and implementing written plans for programmes of work. Work may be carried out in the classroom or any other area of the school as required.
We are seeking those with either NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience plus completion of the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme, or have a minimum of three years relevant satisfactory experience as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant demonstrating a relevant skill level plus a willingness to undertake the DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme.
You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this post.
