Job description
Family First is a family support service working with families who have multiple/complex needs. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Children With Disability support worker who is committed and dedicated to working with families and making positive change's to children's lives.
The post holder will work across the Early Help and Prevention service, supporting families with children who have a Special Educational Need or Disability. The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues and other professionals to ensure there is a robust support package in place to meet the needs of the child.
Within this role you will be providing practical, emotional support, advice and information to parents. You will work directly with children and their families within the home, schools and in the community.
Minimum of 2 years, recent experience of working directly with families with multiple needs with children with disabilities.
Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Health and Social Care) or equivalent experience.
