Calderdale Youth Justice Service are looking to recruit a dynamic and proactive Youth Justice Worker, experienced in working with 10–18-year-olds, with a clear understanding of some of the complex issues affecting young people.
Are you able to motivate and engage hard to reach young people?
Are you passionate about changing outcomes for young people, through multi-agency work and advocating young people’s, right?
Are you imaginative and flexible in your approach to working with young people?
Can you create interventions that will lead to life changing goals?
If so, we may be looking for you. You will require strong communications and problem-solving skills and will have proven experience of working with challenging and at-risk young people in a variety of settings.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed
