- Post 1: £25,408 per annum, 37 hours per week (30+ hours will be considered)
- Post 2: £13,734 per annum, 20 hours per week
- Fixed term until 31 December 2024

About the role
One of our goals is to enable Young Carers (YC) and Young Adult Carers (YAC) to overcome some of the challenges they face in a creative and solution-focused way. This may involve working with a whole family approach and utilising community assets to support and improve well-being and reduce agreed-identified needs.
Working as a team member within our Young Carers and Young Adult Carers Service, you will have the opportunity to assess and support identified carers working alongside them to develop life skills which support positive future outcomes.
As part of this role you will:
- need to travel independently across the county
- have a flexible approach to working hours to meet service needs
- be working with carers (aged 11-18 years) and their families
- develop and facilitate needs led one to one and group interventions and activities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive adviser who has the skills and experience to make a difference. Someone with the confidence to work on their own initiative alongside being a motivated member of our team.
You will have:
- communication skills to build/maintain working relationships with stakeholders
- organisational skills to manage and maintain an evolving caseload
- experience engaging with children and young people
- confidence to provide respite and wellbeing opportunities across the county.
