Overview of the role
Garrison, an award-winning cybersecurity company, is offering a fantastic opportunity to work with within its Legal department – specifically we are seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual looking for hands-on experience within a unique and highly innovative company, and the opportunity to develop within the organisation.
You will work as part of the Legal Team to assist with key duties in Garrison’s fast-moving Legal department, providing you the chance to develop valuable skills and experience including planning, relationship management and negotiation.
As a steadily growing and agile company there is plenty of room for personal development and you will receive the support you need to evolve your skill set. You will receive ample guidance for new tasks, but day-to-day you will be autonomous, organized and proactive.
This placement is intended as a “Year in Industry”, as part of your university degree, and as such we’d ask that you’re in a position to be able to commit at least 9 months to the internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the team with the drafting and amendment of a range of agreements.
- Support the team on negotiations with customers.
- Manage contract signing/DocuSign, execution and storage.
- Accurately record information and maintain NDA and contract libraries in CLM system.
- Support of general legal ad-hoc administrative and logistical tasks.
- Assist in the organisation of company meetings and workshops.
- Process improvement where necessary.
- Recognising the industry that Garrison operates in, and appreciating the importance of following Garrison's information security policies.
Skills & Experience
- Currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Able to multi-task and coordinate with multiple teams effectively.
- Pro-active and able to work well independently as well as part of a wider team.
- A detail-oriented problem solver keen to collaborate with others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, proactive, pragmatic, with strong time management skills.
- Interest in the tech and/or cybersecurity industries is highly beneficial.
