OK! Magazine is looking for an experienced Video Editor to join their hugely successful digital team.
You will ensure the best, most relevant and up to date video content is delivered across all OK! Online platforms, always ensuring the content matches OK!’s house style and engages our readers.
We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.
This role is home and hub based, linked to our London Hub. We are therefore open to candidates based in and around London.
What will the role involve?
You will be responsible for editing and delivering engaging, on-brand content for OK! Online and across all social media platforms. You will ensure all video content is polished and completely accurate.You will plan and coordinate video shoots, setting up equipment and operating camera equipment to capture high quality footage.
You will create innovative social media content and utilise analytics to track performance of content and push to exceed targets. You will curate creative shoot set ups for different design concepts.
This role will involve weekend and evening work, so a flexible approach is required.
Who are we looking for?
You are a highly skilled video editor, with an excellent understanding of OK!’s brand and audience, and can deliver content that matches. You are passionate about all things celebrity, fashion and current events, with a demonstrable understanding of what makes a great video moment. You have experience working in a creative, fast paced environment and can meet tight deadlines with ease.
You are fully versed in Full Premier Pro software and familiar with filming and audio equipment. You are social media savvy, with a strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and SnapChat. You are always monitoring industry rivals, keeping up with social media trends and on brand celebrities. You know how to read and utilise web-analytics platforms with a keen eye for what drives engagement.
