Avaliable Job Today A. M. Phillip Trucktech Ltd (Glenrothes) requires a Yard Operative/HGV Driver for our busy commercial vehicle workshop.

The overall purpose of the role is to carry out general yard duties as well as the cleaning of the workshop/offices and any other odd jobs as required by the Aftersales Manager and/or Workshop Foreman. Additionally, you may be required to carry out collection and delivery of vehicles as need arises.

Areas of responsibility:

• Keeping the workshop and yard clean and tidy.
• Waste management - emptying of bins, sorting of recyclables etc.
• General equipment cleaning including sweeping up, power washing etc.
• Collect / Deliver vehicles Inc. presenting for HGV MOT’s
• Any other reasonable task as instructed by the Aftersales Manager and/or Workshop Foreman.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to recognise where and when duties arise and fulfil these requirements satisfactorily.
• Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.

Experience/Skills:

• Current Full HGV Driving License (class 2 minimum)
