RFP Writer - Overview / General Purpose:
This role will partner with sales and various internal stake holders to develop a strategy for RFPS and RFQ’s. You will play a leading role in the proposal process from start to finish, writing winning responses to proposal requests and related documents. You will work with internal stake holders to develop and overall strategy, lead proposal kick- off meetings, participate in pricing discussion, and serve as the master editor of the proposal. The successful candidate may have to manage a large volume of work with strict deadlines and time demands, and as such, will need to be flexible with scheduling and completing tasks and have a strong work ethic.
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
· 1-3+ years’ experience in a RFP write role
· Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field would be considered an asset
· Familiarity with RFP/ RFQ tenders cycle
· Experience utilizing social media for sales outreach purposes; LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
· Superior writing (including grammar, style, spelling, punctuation), editing, and proofreading skills for accuracy and quality
· Solid formatting experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite and graphic development tools)
· Understanding of disability management services or related consulting practices, an asset
· Skilled at researching and obtaining information via internet, networking and other social media tools
· Preference given to Bilingual Individuals- English / French
· Abide by company policy, i.e. no gossip, Health & Safety, etc.
