What you'll be doing
Our customers come to us because we have a reputation for continuously challenging the industry to do things better, with innovation and excellence at our core. You'll be a key part of the team that makes this happen and helps us to keep pushing the boundaries.
You will be responsible for the assembly and testing of PCB's and electrical control equipment.
How you'll do it
- You'll be responsible for the population of PCB's, following the in-house design documentation
- You'll ensure the PCB tests, defined by the design engineers, are completed, and documented on all prototype designs
- You'll accurately wire and assemble prototype designs, ensuring any issues are recorded
- You'll work with different engineering disciplines to assist in new product development
- You'll take the lead with assembly tasks on all prototype designs
- You'll help create and maintain test results and build reports
- You'll fault find or rework prototype test failures to support design engineers

Your experience and knowledge
- You have experience of PCB testing and associated test equipment (Oscilloscope, multi-meter etc)
- You'll have experience with prototype assembly (SMT & conventional PCB's)
- You have a background in wiring and assembling electrical devices
- You have experience working from electrical schematics, layouts and cable assembly drawings
- Knowledge of EMC testing, certification, and Lean manufacturing is an advantage, but by no means essential
