Are you looking for a new job opportunity as a Workshop Production Assistant / Technician with large amounts of training and potential progression?
Our client is a leading Jewellery Manufacturer in Birmingham, seeking a new team members to join and grow within their team. Seeking experienced / semi - skilled staff members to join an industry leader in the manufacture, testing, treating and reconditioning of precious metals.
A genuine and practical interest in jewellery design / repair or arts & crafts would have a very positive impact on your application.
Some experience of Machine operating isnt essential but would help to have knowledge
You may have previous experience within a factory and looking to upskill.
Our client is offering full training within each department.
The duties of a Workshop Operative include:
Soldering
Machine Operating
Assembly of small parts
Stampings
Benchwork/Finishing products
Quality checking and Fault finding
Cleaning, Polishing and Buffing
Quality inspection
Potential shifts include:
0715-1545
0900-1700
To be a successful Workshop Operative you must have the following experience and skills:
Assembly or Manufacturing experience
At least 6 months experience in a warehouse setting
Willing to learn and be involved in training session
Attention to detail
Hands on/practical mindset
Must be able to use measuring tools
Good Mathematics is essential
