Your key responsibilities:
- Fault Finding/Repair of diesel generators
- Load testing of generators 20-2000KVA
- Major engine repairs and overhauls
- Assess genset condition on returning fleet to SRC
- Modification/upgrades to genset fleet
- Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
- Knowledge of engine ECM programming/diagnostics would be advantage
- Programming of control modules
Education / Qualifications
- City&Guilds/HNC/ONC
Professional skills / experience
- Good communication skills
Personal skills / Experience
- High level of commitment and loyalty

- High level of commitment and loyalty
- Time served Mechanical engineer
- Good working knowledge of DC and AC controls, single/3 phase electrics
- Experience of engine strip downs and rebuilds
- Must hold a full valid driving licence
- Preferred Previous Experience
- Relevant experience in a similar mechanical role would be beneficial
- Position would suit someone from generator or plant background, must be team player and able to work as part of small multi skilled team
