Job description
The role
The School of Humanities is seeking to recruit a Senior Student Administrator to join a large and vibrant education team on a full-time permanent basis.
The role holder would be required to take responsibility for specific areas of administration which support the student admin-related processes within the School and supervise the work of the Education Team in specific delegated areas.
The role holder will be required to act as deputy to the Student Administration Manager (SAM) and Deputy SAM, and support him/her in the overall student administration for the School.
What will you be doing?
In particular, this role will have specific responsibility and oversight of the administration of incoming and outgoing study abroad students in the School. This activity will include tasks such as: unit registration, welcome week events, communication to students, management of BlackBoard sites, marks and transcript conversion, processing student records, exam boards, and working closely with Study Abroad Academic Directors, the Global Opportunities/Centre for Study Abroad team and other related parties.

You should apply if you have demonstrable experience of working in a student support or education administration role, are passionate about working with students, have the ability to work in a busy team environment, and have the ability or experience of supervising the work of more junior colleagues.
