Join our Lyra Provider network as an independent contractor, supporting Lyra ICAS Workplace Mental Health Clients on a referral basis in the UK and Ireland.
The role of the Provider Affiliate is to provide high quality clinical assessments making robust, evidence based recommendations and seeing the client through their counselling and therapy journey with yourself utilising a goal orientated therapeutic approach.
We have a diverse clientele with both short-term and long-term (up to 25 sessions) interventions utilising a variety of delivery platforms - face to face, online video sessions, telephone and online chat.
The role:
- You'll provide us with your availability for initial clinical assessments with our clients via Video consultation.
- We'll organise, manage and set up your Lyra ICAS diary as per your availability.
- Our clients will book with you via our Online Platform per your availability.
- We'll set up the initial assessment video appointments for you and send on the details to yourself and the client.
- You'll undertake the initial clinical assessment and complete a clinical assessment feedback form to Lyra ICAS Clinical Case Managers to agree the Care Pathway moving forwards.
- Follow through the Care Pathway and continuation of treatment with the client in line with clinical recommendations.
- Ongoing, subsequent appointments would be arranged via you and the client within agreed timescales.
- You'd provide updates on progress and clinical outcomes throughout the care journey, including CORE-10.
- Work collaboratively with our clinical case managers through the care journey to provide quality and appropriate support to our clients.
Role requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters level counselling qualification or a doctorate level psychological qualification appropriate to professional standards of the United Kingdom and / or The Republic of Ireland.
- Current accreditation status with relevant professional body in relevant country.
- Registered with the Information Commissioners’ Office (ICO) or equivalent as a Data Controller.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years private practice experience or equivalent of 450 hours experience post qualification.
- Experience of working with a broad range of psychological health and work place related issues. Should include mental health, stress, relationship issues, child related issues, anxiety, and substance related issues.
- Effective management of working with high risk cases such as suicide, abuse, as well as substance use and abuse.
- Experience of working with a diverse client base with cross-cultural and gender awareness and sensitivity.
Skills:
- Computer literate.
- Ability to provide counselling/therapy both face to face and over virtual application.
- Proficient use of English language - other languages are advantageous.
- Excellent administrative and clinical note writing skills.
- Ability to retain and protect confidential information in line with GDPR.
Other:
- Access to a suitable professional private practice premises that meets the standards outline by Lyra ICAS.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Experience of working within a case management model ideally within an EAP setting.
