Prodigy IT Solutions is the outsourced IT department providing IT support to Small and Medium-size Businesses. We are a customer service business that happens to do IT with a huge emphasis on customer service and delivering the very best we can for all clients.
This is a working-from-home role and a unique opportunity to join a dedicated IT team of 4 supporting one of our brilliant Education clients. You will provide remote IT support to 250 + staff and be the face of the company answering phones and support tickets. No one day is the same with such a wide range of technology supporting over 800 machines and Multiple virtual servers.
The client offers a lovely working environment with great facilities including onsite free parking and canteen should you wish to work onsite. If you have previously worked in Education IT support or like the idea of supporting lots of users in this industry then this role could be for you. Full training will be provided on the job but the successful candidate should be a quick learner and have a real passion for IT with previous helpdesk experience.
Due to the industry for this role we will require DBS checks to be carried out.
For this IT Support role, you will need excellent customer service skills, be well organized, and worked in a previous helpdesk position with experience with some of the following technologies.
- Windows Servers Admin 2016-2022 (Hyper- V)
- Disaster Recovery Backup Solutions
- Office 365 including Exchange, SharePoint & Teams, Endpoint Manager
- LAN / TCPIP / DHCP / DNS / Firewalls / VPN’s / WiFi
- Printers
- Mobile phones, Tablets, iPads
- Windows 10/11 & MS Office range
- MIS Software & CRM Systems
