An established humanitarian charity based in Manchester is on the hunt for a Digital Marketing Officer to join their growing team.

After a period of growth, this non-profit organisation is looking to boost its support and fundraising efforts, and they need an experienced marketer to help them on their mission.The successful candidate will be comfortable employing strategies in multi-channel campaigns aimed to increase engagement and conversions, working with the Head of Online to inspire further growth.

Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000-£28,000

• Previous experience working in the charity or non-profit sector is desirable
• Website content management experience, including creating and adding content in line with UX best practices
• Experience in successfully planning and implementing social media strategies is a real plus
• Knowledge of how to effectively engage an existing online community as well as how to attract new audiences
• Managing social media queries and maintaining fundraising platforms such as Just Giving
• Strong digital strategy skills across a range of online channels, including conducting market research and implementing what you find
• Comfortable liaising with external agencies and third parties when needed
• A self-starter who thinks creatively about new opportunities to explore in line with digital trends
