The role

As a Wholesale Manager for our Burnley Distribution Centre operation you will be responsible for managing the end to end wholesale operational process with our global retail partners. You will be accountable for wholesale KPI’s including accuracy and on time shipment as well as managing the wholesale budget for the site. This role sits on the senior leadership team and also has line management responsibility for an operational team. Communication is key both with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The team

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for service delivery to Boohoo’s wholesale customers/B2B from the Burnley distribution centre
  • Working closely with warehouse operations team to ensure seamless customer service and delivery accuracy for our wholesale customers
  • Delivering the wholesale operation within budget
  • Ensures that all wholesale systems and records are accurate
  • Work closely with the central wholesale team and wholesale customers
  • Leading an on-site operational team, develop team members, and attract, train and retain talent
  • Working as part of the UK1 senior leadership team to deliver the site strategy
  • Reviewing continuous improvement ideas within the wholesale department
  • Represent in the UK1 site in external wholesale meetings and discussions

About you

  • Good understanding of distribution centre wholesale processes from inbound through to outbound shipment
  • Ability to use influencing skills and strategies to build buy-in for change
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
  • An experienced people leader and proven experiencing of developing people
  • Experience of managing a budget
