Wellness Manager – Hello Student/ Empiric Student Property

The role:
- Develop and deliver robust strategic framework to proactively support both customer and team members Mental Health and Wellbeing. The framework should be proportionate, and deliverable based on our existing operating platform and current skill base.
- Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, that is open to learning and sharing best practice.
- Engage with HE Student Support Partners and university stakeholders to collaborate on management of student wellbeing incidents and crises
- Provide incident and crisis support as required for team members and customer
- Develop and deliver training programme for internal Mental Health First Aiders
- Support the management and visibility of the Student and Employee Assistance Programmes. Source and propose alternative resources which the support customer and team members physical and mental wellbeing.
- Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to all team members across the business on student wellbeing matters.
- Aligned Wellbeing Management system to compliment the H&S and Business Continuity Framework

What we need from you:
- Thorough understanding of student life and the common welfare issues they encounter
- Strong communication skills and the ability to demonstrate previous implementation of wellbeing programmes.
- Able to demonstrate successful management of third-party stakeholder relationships.
- Experience of managing wellbeing incidents and crisis situations
- Relevant experience and qualification, or a desire to work towards.
- Accredited trainer of Mental Health First Aid
