Job description
The Knockerdown Inn, set just off the beautiful Carsington Water is getting set to open it's doors ready for a busy summer season!
As a Bar and Waiting Team Member you will work closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Managers and your fellow front of house team to ensure that the bar and restaurant runs smoothly.
Our ideal candidates must pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and be passionate about great hospitality. You will be part of the front of house team; hosting guests, taking orders, making drinks and ensuring our guests have the very best time with us.
Given the importance of health and safety, you must maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure that that you abide by all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Hospitality experience is preferred but is not essential... we can teach you to handle a tray of espresso martinis, carry 3 hot plates and pour a perfect pint of Guinness. A great attitude and willingness to learn is all you need!

The role will include evening and weekend work so please bear this in mind! Also, due to our rural location please look into your travel to and form work before applying. We are a five minute walk from the nearest bus stop and just 15 minutes from the towns of Ashbourne & Matlock.
We are also only a 20 minute drive from the University of Derby.
