Major Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading world wide manufacturing company based in the Rotherham area who have been established since 1843. They are looking to expand their team on a interim basis with an experienced HR Manager.
As a HR manager you will reporting in to the HR Senior Manager and Plant Manager and will work in a matrix-type environment driving the HR strategy in all areas of HR support.

Responsibilities of a HR Manager:
- Implementation of new Time and attendance system
- Providing Coaching to Leaders and employees
- Building and/or rolling out other fundamental HR training/ practices
- Performance Management
- Business partner approach to Human Capital/ HR management to the local plant organization
- Aligning and communicating HR priorities to the needs of the business.
- Working with business leaders to ensure goal setting, performance evaluation, and performance coaching of their client base
- Working with business leaders to develop appropriate organization structures and supports Talent Acquisition priorities
- Guiding leaders to identify and address talent issues before they impact the business
- Labour relations management
- D&I strategy deployment
Requirements:
- Qualification: CIPD – Level 5 or equivalent
- Experience of using HR Information Systems
- 5 years + HR Business Partner / HR Generalist experience, preferred within a Manufacturing Environment
· Knowledge of relevant HR policies, procedures and employment law
- Trade Union Relationship Experience
- Experience in providing support and policy advice to line managers
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-1pm. The business also offer 25 days holiday plus statutory days and offer a salary of £45,000- £60,000 depending on experience. The successful applicant will have a two stage interview process with site/plant managers.
