A bit about the roleWe are seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to join our Payments & Checkout team. As a Business Analyst within Payments & Checkout, you will work closely with product & tech teams to support successful delivery of projects & initiatives. As part of this, you will:
- Collaborate with product teams for discovery phase to identify opportunities and root causes for problem statement
- Collaborate with the product team in shaping the product backlog and driving value swiftly through effective refinement and sequencing of Epics & User Stories
- Elicit, validate, refine and manage the requirements (Epics, Features & Stories) within a given initiative, including defining the expected behaviour of the solution and the non-functional requirements.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through design, build, testing and deployment.
- Work on enhancing our core commerce platform, detailing requirements from other teams and other parts of the business, and working on team led initiatives.
- Work closely with solution architects to identify issues and define solutions.
- Actively support all Quality and Implementation activities (including warranty).
- Fully understand the implementation of existing solutions within the domain and how they fit with the overall systems architecture
- Experience of a range of business requirements elicitation and engineering methods, business process analysis, and business solution design & assurance.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills with a drive for results, problem solving and action oriented.
- Experience in presenting insights to non-technical & senior stakeholders.
An analytical mind. Detail orientated and have background in working in ecommerce.
- Understanding of ecommerce order journeys. Experience of working on order management platforms desirable.
- Great communication skills- both verbal & written.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about Business Analysis and industry best practice.
