Responsible for the running of the IT Department within ADM Investor Services International (ADMISI) and for leading the global governance function using an ITIL based, proactive delivery approach of IT services to all internal and external customers of ADMIS.
The main duties of this role will include:
- Oversight of ADMISI’s IT infrastructure, processes and procedures
- Management of ADMIS global IT Governance function
- Management of a team of staff split between:
- Service Delivery & Trading Platform Support - Administration and Support of trading platforms and market data, middle and back office systems and the corporate desktop and server environment
- Infrastructure - Voice and data networks, datacentres, databases, servers, data storage and monitoring
- Applications Support - Supporting nonstandard Applications and in-house developed systems and interfaces including data processing and reporting. Partner with the software development organization to optimize the technology capability and to deliver projects and business value
- Implement the IT security policy for ADMISI
- Overall responsibility for the oversight and management of the IT Outsourcing
- Planning the implementation of processes and procedures for the identification and assessment of risk in the organization’s information systems
- Measuring and monitoring IT compliance
- Developing systems and processes for the management and reporting of risks
- Developing standard operating procedures for IT systems to ensure compliance with corporate governance
- Analyse business and IT investments for compliance with IT governance objectives
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT governance objectives
- Build and monitor a robust data and application access framework, ensuring privilege access and regular reviews on authorization and entitlements
- Manage/oversee the global change process considering staffing levels, change windows, nature of change, and risks to the business
- Create a comprehensive and thorough global service catalogue (CMDB) to ensure asset and configuration management can be properly administered
- Manage information and security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, intellectual property, regulated data and the company's reputation
- Create and manage a global incident management framework, thereby reducing mean time to restore to lowest possible levels
- Oversee the creation and testing of global IT continuity, inclusive of recovery time and recovery point objectives for each business application

- Enhance third party risk management framework to include assigning IT and business owners per vendor, proper categorization of vendors, onboarding and offboarding processes, and regular reviews
- Provide management with periodic performance management reports and recommendations for improvement
- Coach and help develop all IT staff
- Support Front Office sales as the IT Ambassador for ADMISI
- “Own” the service levels that clients sign-up to and ensure that they are adhered to
- Ensure that all IT complete all mandatory training.
- A working knowledge and understanding of markets and products in which the company operates as well as the changing regulatory requirements
- In depth, knowledge of systems and services used by the business including front and middle office systems as well knowledge of competitor products.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- SMF 24 Approved - Information Technology
- At least 6 years of global senior IT management
- At least 3 years’ experience in an ITIL management position (preferably within the Financial Services industry, ideally within a brokerage environment)
- Management of a team of 14 technical staff or more
- Working knowledge and experience of IT Service Management
- Knowledge of the main exchange infrastructures globally covering derivatives and equities
- Knowledge of the exchange independent software vendors (ISVs), such as Fidessa, TTNET, RTS etc.
- Back-office systems, such as FIS SunGard GMI and ATEO LISA
- Microsoft Office, Exchange, file servers and operating systems
- Data and Voice wide and local area networks, SaaS, ISP and Internet
- Management of a team of 14 staff with 5 direct reports
