Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator to join a reputable company based in Romsey. Our client has been trading for over 40 years and is very established in their area of expertise.
As a MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator, your role will involve tasks including but not limited to:
- Delivering and fabricating parts to drawing and specification in a timely manner to the expected quality level
- Implementing and ensuring operator Quality Control
- Supporting Lean Manufacturing techniques via the Production, Engineering and Materials Department
- Carrying out MIG and TIG weld work accurately and efficiently to drawings
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
The following experience and skills are required:
- Hand tools and hand power tools
- MIG and TIG welding from within a workshop environment
- Understanding of technical drawings and having a high level of accuracy
The working hours for this position is 0630am to 5.15 pm Monday to Thursdays and 0630am to 3pm on Fridays. Our client is flexible to accept candidates who wish to do slightly less hours per week if needed.
This role is a permanent position with an interview process that involves a practical welding test.
Due to the location and the start time, you will need to live locally to Romsey or have own transport.
