Job Title: Steel Fixer

Job Description:
We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Steel Fixers to join our remarkable new project in the UK. This position is an excellent opportunity to work on a unique venture, joining a team that values top-notch workmanship and strict adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting rebar drawings and working to schedules
- Tying rebar
- Making steel bars or mesh the required length by cutting them with petrol saws
- Assembling pile caps, columns, walls, slabs and ground beams
- Installing couplers and pull out bars
- Fixing holding down bolts in place
- Ensuring work is performed in line with safety guidelines
- Completing work to a high standard of quality
Qualifications & Experience:
- CSCS card holder, ideally Blue Card with an NVQ Level 2
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Come to site with own nips
Vetting & DBS Check:
Fixed places a high emphasis on safety and professionalism, hence we implement a meticulous vetting process and require a DBS check for all our workers. If you have recently completed a DBS check within the last three months, this will greatly expedite your application process. Once you pass our vetting, you will not only be eligible for this project but for other future projects requiring similar vetting processes, making you a unique and sought-after worker in the industry.
