Role Overview
As the Business Solutions Analyst you will assist in managing the intellectual property of IT systems and how they support the business needs across a defined and assigned area of the business. You will ensure our applications are secure and functionally fit for business purpose.
Gathering, analysing and managing business and solution requirements and translating them into functional and technical system designs across simultaneous delivery projects.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver changes to service, process organisation, operating model and other aspects as needed.
- Take account of, and deliver solutions compliant with, relevant architectures, strategies, roadmaps, polices and standards
- Defines, documents and maintains relevant designs and intellectual property on a defined area of the Bupa estate
- Analyses qualitative data (e.g. from site visits) and presents the data in ways that can be used to drive design
- Protects Bupa and Customer data through the managing an agreed area of the application and data estate and resolving security issues and meeting data retention and protection standards
What you’ll bring:
- Good knowledge of O365 Microsoft Applications - (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Strong stakeholder management, demonstrable experience in influencing and working with multiple functions within the business
- Understanding and experience of Requirements Management.
- Working knowledge of Visio would be desirable
- Strong knowledge of Business Analysis
- Manages own time and allocations, with enthusiasm, following the BG UK IT strategic direction.
- Resilient in an unpredictable and demanding environment where work levels can rapidly change
