Welder II is an hourly Full-Time union role in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, and the starting pay rate for this position is $36.40/hour.

Responsibilities :
Our Welders II do the following:
- Welding repairs and daily work using metals, mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum while working on elevated platforms and in confined spaces
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting up to 50 pounds; able to stand during prolonged periods of time while providing services
- Performs conflict resolution with a critical balance of knowledge, integrity, and partner resourcing
- Delivers clear and concise verbal and written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding
- Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required; may handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
Basic Qualifications :
- Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain a minimum of four certifications annually
- Five (5) years of welding experience
- Understands and able to perform the following welding processes: GTAW(TIG) - 6G Position with multiple materials; SMAW(Stick) - 6G Position with multiple materials; FCAW(Flux Core) –1G, 2G, 3G and 4G Position with multiple materials; GMAW(MIG) – 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G Position with multiple materials
- Proficient in Welding Safety Practices including Weld Fume Mitigation; Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) Knowledge; Demonstrate blueprint reading skills including weld symbols; and Fixture Design and Fabrication
Preferred Qualifications:
Here are the outstanding preferred skills we are looking for:
- Proficient in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
