BrightStar Care of Frisco and Carrollton is actively hiring a caring and professional in-home caregiver to care for a 98 year old client who lives in Carrollton! We provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and older adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. Hours/Days needed: Saturday 9a-5p and Sunday 11:30a-5:30p Sunday is a late start so you have time to go to church before work! Caregiver Benefits: Pay at $15.00, over 20 hours a week is $16/hr. Mileage reimbursement with multiple visits Electronic notes Employee referral bonus Weekly pay Direct deposit Two days of orientation Paid training opportunities Caregiver Responsibilities: Caregiver will assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers Caregiver can cook healthy meals for client. Caregiver can accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits Caregiver can assist client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing Caregiver Job Requirements: Up-to-date CPR (expires every 2 years) Current Driver’s License Auto insurance with your name on it MUST be able to lift 50+ lbs At least 1 year of experience in home health or facility setting Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds We are strongly considering candidates with experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
