Our instantly recognisable D2C brand are looking for a web designers to join their growing team. As an experienced designer you will be familiar with creating templated digital assets, emails and web pages which drive conversion on key campaigns for new and existing customers.
You will be happy work autonomously, and as part of a team taking responsibility for your work load and proactively coming up with new ideas and ways of working where necessary.
A well-respected brand in the food and beverage space they have UK and internationally focussed teams that these roles will sit with, although the brand has been around for a while they run in a lean way and encourage proactive workers.
Day to day Responsibilities
- Build first class web pages with excellent user experience.
- Create design and coded templates to build a library of consistently branded assets for the business to deploy in campaigns and test and improve in A/B tests.
- Ensure all creative output adheres to our design system.
- Collaborate with other designers to continuously improve work flows, critique each others work and identify opportunities to improve all areas of design.
To be suited to this role you must have:
- Minimum 3 years commercial experience as a web designer or similar.
- A strong portfolio of web projects
- Good knowledge of mobile-first and responsive development and modern styling techniques (CSS, Sass, design systems, Material Design etc)
- Good knowledge of Figma (preferred), Sketch or Adobe XD.
Added bonus skills:
- Experience working with Javascript (ie. jQuery/React/Vue)
- Familiar with Git source control
- An interest in new technologies & frameworks
- Familiar with the principles of accessibility
