Role Summary
Accuenergy is looking for a Graphic Designer that can create inspiring concepts for the company’s brand strategy and complete deliverables for cross-functional teams. Ensure all marketing assets serve to achieve immediate or long-term business goals; identify and execute improvements to any process, content, and lead generation.
Position: Web Designer
Candidates must provide online portfolio to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities
· Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, & Adobe InDesign
· Working knowledge of HTML, & CSS
· Experience with JavaScript and with CMS platform is an asset
· Understanding of UX design principles
· Know how to rapid prototype
· Experienced creating digital design
· Designing webpage mock-ups, social media banners, email templates
· Able to build webpages from mock-ups
· Understand how to touch-up and clean images and photos are an asset
· Know how to optimize images for the web
· Other general duties as required
Who You Are:
- Excellent communication - written and verbal – to breakdown complex topics to non-developers
- Advocate and understand development best practice
- Experienced in debugging and problem-solving issues
- Able to tackle and overcome new development challenges
- A self-starter who is able take ownership of projects and offer improvements
- Understand project scope and whether projects can be completed in a timely manner
About You:
· 2 years Adobe Suite work experience including XD, Photography
· 2 years of relevant web designer experience
· 2 years HTML, CSS work experience
· A university degree or college diploma in web design, or digital media
