Job description

We are seeking an experienced .NET Web Developer to join our fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality, scalable web applications using the .NET framework. Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Working on multiple complex projects and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Delivery of application development using best practices.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain components within different architectural styles such as (console applications, Service Oriented Architecture, N-tier monoliths)
• Work both independently and as part of a development team.
• participate in the design, enhancement, and support of our existing projects.
• Design experience with Object Oriented development, user interface design (Web and Desktop).

Key Skills

• Should have a great passion for computer programming and the engineering principles that surround it such as (DRY, SOLID, YAGNI, KISS etc.)
• Have a good understanding of Microsoft .Net Technologies (C#, ASP.net WebForms, ASP.net MVC, Razor, .net Core)
• Highly motivated to keep themselves abreast with the latest technologies and development methodologies.
• Be familiar with development tools such as Visual Studio, visual studio code, GIT, Azure Devops.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL server database design, querying, functions, and stored procedures, indexing and profiling.
• Have a solid understanding of Entity Framework (Code first Entity Framework migrations / Database first)
• 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies

Desirable Skill

• AWS / Azure experience
• MongoDB
• Agile Processes
• Monday.com (project management platform)
• Telerik (aspnet ajax, kendo ui)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sheffield, S4 7UQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• C#: 3 years (required)
• Microsoft SQL Server: 3 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (required)
