Wealth Training Academy Lead - £40,000 to £50,000 for Norwich or York / £55,000 to £65,000 for London

A bit about the job:
You will support the reinvention of Aviva’s Wealth Academy, which will enable Aviva to develop the skills we need to build a future ready Wealth business. Collaborating with teams across the People Function as well as our Wealth business, you will identify and develop the skills needed to execute Aviva’s strategy and deliver great customer outcomes. You will act as a Skills and Learning Consultant, identifying skills gaps within our Wealth Management business and then design & deliver the best approach to upskilling and reskilling our financial advisory and planning talent (i.e., our future IFA population). Therefore, expert knowledge of this industry is a must, matched with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to design high impact, successful learning initiatives.
Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from our London, Norwich, or York offices.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Prior Wealth Management sector experience, undertaking a Learning / Training focused role
  • Strong understanding of the skills and capabilities needed in the Financial Services sector for success in the future
  • Can-do attitude, with a strong delivery and project management mindset
  • Ability to challenge and positively influence others, at all levels and resilient to resistance from stakeholders
  • Ability to design impactive learning pathways in a large complex organisation
What you’ll get for this role:
  • Annual salary of £40,000 to £50,000 for national locations / £55,000 to £65,000 for London (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
