What will I do as a Wealth Manager at HSBC?
Wealth Management is a genuinely relationship-based service where teams provide financial planning and advice together with market insight and updates, as well as products in areas such as investments, deposits, insurance, financing and foreign exchange.
You will:
- Manage and support a portfolio of high value premier customers
- Act as a trusted adviser providing holistic financial advice and supporting our customers through key life events such as investing for their future, saving for a new home, planning for retirement or protecting their family for every eventuality
- Conduct in depth reviews to identify personal and financial needs of customers and deliver a consistent and tailored wealth management and financial planning service to a portfolio of HSBC clients
- Advise on a full range of products and services that include both HSBC manufactured products and those provided by external partners
- Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication and influencing
- Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify possible risks and opportunities for the business
What does it take to be a successful Wealth Manager at HSBC?
We’re looking for people-oriented individuals who want to build their portfolios, safely grow the HSBC Wealth and Personal Banking business, and move the needle on their careers. In addition, you will:
- Currently hold CAS status
- Hold role relevant Level 4 qualifications (Dip CII, CISI or equivalent QCF RDR level 4 qualification) and meet current Statement of Professional Standing requirements
- Have knowledge of and willingness to learn more about financial planning and wealth products
- Be able to gain an understanding of customers' needs and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Be flexible with an adaptable approach to change and able to support others to respond in a similar way
- Have experience working in a relevant environment (wealth management, retail banking, relationship management, front office)
