Professional Meters, Inc. (PMI) is a nationwide water meter installation company looking for experienced water meter installers for a project in the Fremont, California area with the opportunity to travel on with PMI to other projects nationwide. PMI is looking for self-motivated individuals who can work well with little supervision, maintain a work schedule and have a great work ethic. Individuals must act professional with the customer, city and other PMI employees. Knowledge of plumbing as well as an understanding of using an iPad / iPhone is a must. Starting Pay $32
Responsibilities:
- Replacing water meters;
- Install meter and transmitter and lid;
- Collect and Validate Data
- Complete work to specifications; and
- Treat customer property with respect (no property damage)
Requirements:
- High School, GED, or equivalent work experience;
- Must have valid Driver's License with clean driving record;
- Must be able to work in inclement weather;
- Must be detail oriented, have good verbal skills and a neat/clean appearance;
- Must be comfortable interacting with customers daily
- Must have the ability to use assigned tools properly and work within safety guidelines
Experience is a plus but training is available to the right individuals.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $32.60 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Meter Technicians & Readers: 1 year (Required)
- Plumbing: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
