Warehouse/workshop Assistant Ballymena, Northern Ireland
Job description
An extremely varied position involving preparation of orders, maintenance of the warehouse and stock yard. Also, ensuring the workshop is up to date with materials. On top of the usual duties candidates should be open to help with a variety of tasks within a multi faceted business, even learn new skills such as might be required when helping in the workshop. Two days are seldom the same and a lot of emphasise is on being “handy” with a willingness to tackle new challenges. Enjoying working with wood and some experience of doing so would be advantageous. A good understanding of stock apps or even some knowledge of computer systems would help but not essential. A Clean driving licence is. Essential and forklift experience. Also, comfortable with driving with a trailer attached to our vehicles.
