If you are outgoing, friendly, confident with a warm and sincere smile, then welcome to your new home at Virgin Hotels! We will depend on your natural persona and special skills to assist in delivering excellent service to our guests by initiating warm contact, interactions built on sincerity and enthusiasm. Additionally, you will coordinate and be responsible for taking coats and managing a high-volume seating operation in a fast-paced environment while creating and maintaining guest profiles and preferences.
The Nitty-Gritty:
What exactly you will be doing…
· Greet, interact, and bid farewell to guests in a warm and genuine and enthusiastic fashion
· Use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, polishing cutlery/glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc.
· Provide lateral service including assisting in clearing tables, carry plates to dishwashing area when needed
· Maintain guest profile, preferences in a database for distribution to staff
· Be a team player!
Background must-have:
· Preferred:1-2 years’ experience as a Server in a full service hospitality establishment
· Current right to work in the UK
